To Craig Merrell: First day on the water this season my starboard impeller melted. I called the Sales Department, and Jason Marchese, Sales Manager, reached out to Rob Upson, Service Manager. Rob called me within one hour and the next morning at 8:00 a.m., Leon Kutkowski, Master Technician arrived at my house to make the necessary repairs, and I was then boating by 10:00 a.m. Thanks for the great response and service!
To Craig Merrell: Formula Rendezvous 2006! Pouring rain…eating clams and BBQ under the pavilion with Scott & Shelly Porter, Craig Merrell, Joel Holden, Jennifer Holden, and Formula family friends…joking, laughing, and ignoring the washout! Once the rain let up, we played horseshoes, swam and had a wonderful time. We did not let the rain ruin our Rendezvous! On such a cold, damp day I never felt such warmth amongst friends – old and new! Thanks Dockside!
To Craig Merrell: Three years ago, when the monsoons descended upon Black Mountain Point, the Formula Rendezvous gathering place, the few and the brave Formula diehards joined together to celebrate the Second Annual Formula Rendezvous. The Dockside gang donned black garbage bags while helping to dock boats. When the winds blew, all Formula boats held fast, even the oldest Formula of all owned by Gordon Holmes. The Formula family – Craig Merrell, Joel Holden, Jason Marchese, Jennifer Holden, and more smiled throughout the Rendezvous. Lasting friendships were made under the lean-to, because of course we all have Formula fever forever!
To Craig Merrell: My husband & I had a 25 year old Chaparral boat. We had always dreamed of having a Formula. My husband would always say when we were on the lake – there’s a Formula – there’s another Formula - he had a glint in his eyes when ever he saw one! I told him he never looked at me the way he looked at a Formula! Through Craig Merrell, we were able to get a little “Formula Fix” here and there. When our 25 year old boat bit the dust – Craig Merrell helped make our dreams come true! Now we both look at our new Formula with that glint in our eyes – we love it!

To: Craig Merrell Craig, I just wanted to send you an email to let you know how satisfied I am with your company. In my business, just like in yours, I deal with many customers and, unfortunately, customers are quick to complain when they are dissatisfied, but very rarely do you hear from the happy ones. Well, I am one satisfied Dockside Landing customer and I wanted you to know about it. Two weeks ago I received delivery of my 2005 Formula 280 SS which I purchased from Dockside Landing. The entire experience my wife and I had dealing with your company was a pleasure. The first person I spoke to several months ago was Jason Marchese. Jason is a real professional. What makes Jason a great salesperson is the fact that he truly listens to the customer. He doesn’t just listen in order to respond, but he listens to his customers because he really wants to understand what his customer needs to satisfy their boating requirements. After Jason finalized the order, I had the pleasure of dealing with Joel for the delivery to Long Island. Joel kept me up to date every step of the way regarding the delivery. Whenever I called Dockside Landing I was greeted by Jennifer who answered the telephone. Jennifer was always cheerful and always very helpful. And finally I met Phillip who actually drove the truck and made the delivery of my new boat to Long Island. Phillip arrived at 5:00 p.m. after driving all day. Phillip stayed with me for about 2 hours showing me things I should know about the boat. Even though Phillip had a long drive home, he stayed with me in the dark, cold weather to teach me about my new boat. Phillip went the extra mile. Craig, the bottom line is you are a lucky guy to have such a wonderful group of employees. I will recommend Dockside Landing to my friends and family.
