More To Do On Lake George!

Interested in doing something besides boating or swimming on the lake while staying at our Condo?

Lake George has got you covered.

Visit Fort William Henry for a hands-on look through time. Children can experience life as a soldier and explore the museum for fascinating artifacts found during archaeological digs in the area.

Down the road is House of Frankenstein Wax Museum where you’re likely to see the monster from Frankenstein’s lab waiting on the sidewalk for you (he’s much friendlier than Hollywood portrays him). Also nearby is Dr. Morbid’s Haunted House, where you can hear excited screams all summer long. Are you brave enough?

Funa’rama Fun Park is a great location for the little ones. Featuring bumper boats, a carousel, bumper cars, and an arcade, kids are sure to be entertained for the day.

Is mini golf your thing? Around the World Miniature Golf takes you on a tour through the world, without leaving lovely Lake George! Heading towards Queensbury there is another miniature golf course called Goony Golf where you can see some outrageously fun decorations throughout your game.

For a more educational aspect, visit the Lake George Historical Association and Museum. Since 1895, they have been working to preserve the incredible history of Lake George and educate the public. Take a tour through courthouses and jail cells to recreate the extensive history of Lake George. Learn about the battles in the area as well as the “lake monster” Georgie.

Lastly, you may have seen in videos online, is the “Mystery Spot” of Lake George. Hiding in plain sight near the Visitors Center is a circular concrete platform. Stand in the middle of that, face the lake, and start shouting. You will notice your voice echo back to you in a strange acoustic phenomenon. People around you may question why you’re yelling at nothing, and they’ll have to see the mystery for themselves!

We hope you enjoy your stay!
